Congrats but you didn't have to do anything, I am not paying one penny over msrp aside from fees and stuff which are still bs. But congrats none the less at least u got one.

Congrats! Nice car. I would have spent that $2000 on more tires after i burned those off, but I guess it was worth it!

I cant say anything about what you paid. I have been looking in my area and if there was one I liked I would have picked it up over MSRP also. Problem was that most of the cars in my area were either colors I dont want, options missing I wanted and not a 2SS RS.

I wish I could only have to pay $2K over MSRP!
Here in Cayman we have to pay 40% on duties on a vehicle that has a value of $35K or more. That works out to $14800US approximately plus shipping. My final price from my dealer is $44K (Cayman dollars) in US that is $52,381. That sucks but I have to do what I have to do!

Dealers marking vehicles up over MSRP are a result of people willing to pay it.
It's a vicious cycle and will never end until the community puts their foot down and simply says "No thanks." I will congratulate you on your car, but it definitely comes at an expense to the car buying community.

the hypocrisy on this board makes me sick sometimes.
 on one hand we're kicking down dealers advertising cars for over MSRP, on the other hand we say "oh well, congrats" when somebody actually pays more than MSRP.
