Lighting Question

Will the Phastek LED Blub work in the 2013 Camaro 2SS DRL/Fog light? I had to order both complete Units. Plus the plug and play wiring harness.


Wish i knew what Chevy was thinking when they made what everyone called fog lights into Cheap DRL.


So the harness is there to keep the DRL's on when all the lights are on after dark.


The only way to turn on halos and the DRL' is to turn on parking lights on the 2010-2015.. for day time use. They will auto time out after 15 minutes3

What makes you think they “time out” after 15 minutes?

On my 2011 SS when it was stock, when you start the car, the DRL's will come on and stay on unless you turn them off by twisting the headlight knob to the left and releasing it, then they are off, when they are on stock and you turn on your parking lights, one click to the right, they will go out, and also when you turn on your headlights, stock, they will go out, the DRL's. With the harness when you start the car they will come on as normal while you drive, unless again you turn them off by twisting the knob one click to the left as above and turn them off. While driving with them still on after the start up with the harness, if you turn on your parking lights, this time they WILL stay on with the parking lights, giving you DRL's AND parking lights, then if you turn on your headlights with the harness, ALL the lights will be on!! DRL's, parking and headlights. From my experience if you are sitting say in a parking lot or at a night show and leave your parking lights and DRL's on, but no headlights while the car is not running, YES they will timeout and shut off so the battery doesn't drain down, if the car is running and the alt is charging the battery, then they will stay on until you shut the car off, and the lights.
In my Camaro I am running the P13W Plasma LED's I got from Phastek, along with the harness. Been installed for I think about 9 years so far without any issues. I hope this answers all your questions. Cheers...

I just installed a harness so that my halos are the drl...and the original drls come on with the fog lights. Looks so much better

Yes sir!! And the timeout length can be changed in the configuration menu on the radio buttons, along with other stuff. I found out reading on here. lol.

Awesome!! I like having all my lights lit up at night, just makes the front of the car look more aggressive!!
