I just did it with my car. Just take the bolt they sent you, and it goes through the adapter plate to the supercharger, instead of just the brackets.

You can kinda see here.

Yup...I see. It covers up the old mounting hole doesn't it? uses the same pin/key point for the peg on the back of the tensioner? You know what the torque is for the pulley bolt?

I believe Ted told me 35 ft/ with red thread lock. There's only two mounting positions for the tensioner. Put it on the bottom. I also routed the belt under the tensioner not over like Vortech has on their instructions. All like Ted suggested.

Also loosen the pulley bolt with the belt still on. Then finger tighten pulley and then install the belt to tighten. I also put tension on the tensioner while I tightened the pulley bolt.

that all worked out...I routed it under the idler pulley and moved the tensioner to the new spot. It took an impact to break loose the stock pulley...had to use my 1/2" breakover to put tension on the belt while I zipped the bolt out. I tightened it back as tight as I could get it by ratchet without the pulley moving. loctite too, all I had was blue. I think it should be good. The tensioner belt allignment isn't great. The belt is at the limit of rubbing the edge of the tensioner pulley. I'll let the belt stretch a bit and see what it looks like.

Did you do the second race bypass? If not any surging issues?

I have it. I am trying it without first. Doing the zl1 pump and adm fpcm for fuel, zr1 map, stock l99 plugs. If I don't have to add the second valve I am not going to. I will know soon enough.

What do you mean surging? I have the 2nd one on there right now, and it seems to be running like I never put another one on. Runs great.

I was referring to the single bypass not letting out enough air when releasing from WOT and continuing to force air through the TB causing surge conditions. I was going to drop pulleys too but I didnt want to get a second bypass.

vortech says its needed above 10psi. My buick did it because the GN's didn't have a bov of sorts, I was running 27psi on the street with it. Its one of those things that you would have to dead lift at 10+ psi for it to surge and buck. We'll see.

cool. I just ordered mine from Ted and I have the Tial 50mm Q bov so I'll put the race bypass on with it if needed.

didnt need the second one. 10.2psi on datalogs.

upgrade used: stock ls3 plugs, zr1 map, 3.33 pulley, belt, ZL1 pump, ADM fpcm.

I personally think a bigger bypass is better than running dual...if needed. i think if I was at more boost it would for sure be needed.
