Hey Gang ... I've been perusing the forum since taking home my 1LE, and figured I should probably register and participate here.

A recent divorce made me get rid of my pride and joy, a 2008 BMW 335i Convertible. I had done a lot to her, and really enjoyed driving. Here's a tribute:

This is how she originally came:

So imagine my surprise when I see a Camaro, with a Black and Orange theme, and already modded favorably from the factory.

I've never owned an American car before, but I can say it's "not that bad"

Today I decided to dig into my first mods... (if you can call them that)

Plastidip and debadge.

Here are some photos that you can jerk off to now!

I pulled out the shrouds, emblems, and got rid of the "ss" badges... I was going to keep them, but thought against it... going with a "debadged" theme...

Plastidipped everything, and this is what it looks like now:

and a couple of other shots, just for good measure... the sun really makes this paint "pop"

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say HI. I am considering a blower, but my first big project will be a stereo overhaul. I'll post progress as I go through, but this won't be anywhere near the realms of Best Buy installs... It will be much much more involved and articulate.

Congrats man. The car looks really good de-badged and plasti dipped, however I feel it would look complete with black ZL1 rockers. From wheel to wheel.

Oh god, exactly like the one I ordered!!! Thanks for the pics! I love the black plasti dip job you did too. Im gonna do exactly the same to my car, but Im gonna plasti dip the rear 'berger panel'.

Look in my profile albumns, and you will find pics of my car as I installed the rockers. Also, another guy named Lio, in our group installed the same on his IOM
