aac harness

what is the purpose of the harness that aac sends with thier p13 bulbs.

i watched the install video and all they showed was the bulbs being installed and they worked.

is this a harness for non rs, or to make the drls run at night?

any info would be appreciated

I can only speak for the RS. The AAC harness (actually, they are t-taps) allow the DRLs to remain on at night; they also allow the DRLs to remain on when you manually switch to the parking and head lights.

If you want a harness, there is a vendor here that sells it for about $50 I think...that one is more plug and play, without the wire splicing that comes with the t-taps. Do a search and you should find him. Good luck.

Just my 2 cents, but I have field goals harness, yes it costs more than others, but i found it to be very well made , and well thought out.

Definitely worth the money.
