Has anyone installed a convertible tower brace on a 2010 ss coupe?

Has anyone installed a 2011 convertible tower brace on a 2010 SS coupe. if so what did you do to make it fit. the fender wells don't seam to be the same on both cars. thanks for any help.

Can't be done using the stock GM brace.

True. 2010 and early 2011 Camaros have different shock towers compared to late 2011-present Camaros. The convertible/1LE/ZL1 brace will only fit late 2011-present cars. There are aftermarket braces available for your 2010 but you will have to drill holes.

There is an adapter kit for the 2010s that allows use of that brace. But it's $120-130.

there is an adapter kit, I have it but I haven't installed it yet! I got it on ebay from a company called TPIS, they are bit hard to find but they are out there.

Here's a link for them. As much as I like the look of the GM brace I doubt I'll get one and install it on my 2010 SS. The brace is about $120 and the adapter kit itself is another $130. Kind of hard to justify for my mod bodget.

TPiS adapter and the GM brace is well worth the money. Better looking then aftermarket strut braces IMO.

Are guys great or what ? Already had the ends painted black to match the car , polished the center section and clear coated it . Just ordered the kit from Tpis now just have to wait a few days. Thanks for all the help.
