FSP - Vortech YSi, Custom Tubing , No Silicone, All V-Band/Pegasus Clamps...

We are up here in Panama City once again taking care of some upgrades on our buddies car here. Hope to hit the 1/8 mile tomorrow if weather allows. We have been lucky to work next to an excellent fabricator in the area here, that does amazing work. Considering what he normally works on, this is one of the lower HP cars that he handles... Figured you guys would like to see this.

It is a Vortech YSi kit (Made 739rwhp on our Mustang dyno through a A6, stock bottom) that has been converted with all new tubing, V-Bands and Pegasus clamps. Not one piece of silicone left on the entire kit, even down to the stock TBody with the weld ferrules for the V-Band...

This is ONE-off, however, we can work it out if anyone wants to change their kit the car would have to go to Panama City and we will handle further tuning when Craig is done with the fab work.

It looks good, how much of a benefit will this produce? Used for drag?

Street car... Well this eliminates all of the sharp bends, silicone, and makes everything very easy to service. Remove bumper (5 minutes), then you can remove the one driver's pipe with a pegasus clamp & a v-band.. And the driver's side, same deal. So 2 pegasus, 2 v-bands the entire charge system is off the car minus the intercooler...

Great looking work.
I might be worried about stress fractures. Having a couple places with silicone couplers allows for flex from vibration and engine movement.

Thus the reason for the Pegasus clamps.. They are copies of the Wiggins clamps without the $400 price tag per clamp assembly. Ive used the Wiggins for years especially back at my fab shop.
