Custom airbrush work under hood... *MUST SEE THIS!!*

*Added Pics 10/14/10*

I am having alot of custom airbrush done under my hood by Pro Tek in Charleston S.C and I wanted to start this thread to post progress pics along the way for everyone to see. So far they will be airbrushing my engine cover, CAI tube, box, and hood pad and maybe more down the road.. As of now I only have one pic of the blank canvas but more to follow. Stay tuned and subscribe now, you will not want to miss what we came up with!!!!

Here is a description of whats planned just to give you guys an idea of what the work will look like,

We are trying to incorporate the actual pieces under the hood into the artwork. On the center of the engine cover it is going to look like a gas mask, the tube is being painted to look like a hose coming from it so it will look like the the gas mask is breathing through the big cone filter on the CAI kit. On the hood pad there is going to be a skyline with a mushroom cloud from an atom bomb. Also around the mask you will see destruction from atom bomb. Its kind of hard to explain but when its all done it should look amazing. Stay tuned .

If anyone is interested in getting any work done by Pro Tek here is the contact info. If you are not local you can send them your parts to get custom painted or airbrushed. I highly recommend them, if you can dream it up they can do it. Tell them Justin sent you and they will get you hooked up.

1st Progress pic!!

Some more pics.. Its still not complete but you can get a good idea of how it will look. I will get completed pics installed hopefully tomorrow or saturday.

Heres some more progress photos with the tube being painted and the mask getting some changes and extra detail. (Everything still needs to be cleared to see all of the color and make it pop.. More to come.

Here is a pic to give you an idea of what we are thinking for the hood pad.. This was done on cardboard in black and white but will give you a good idea of how it will look.

Heres another pic with some color

Here are a few more pics installed.. The parts still need to be re-cleared and buffed again, and the hood pad painted and installed but here you go.. When I get the car back I will get some better pics posted but this is all I have for now (These cell phone Pics dont do it justice and I have no idea why the first pic is sideways lol)

I just got the car back with most of the stuff done in the engine bay!!! It was dark out but I decided to snap some pics to show how it came out because I was so excited with the outcome. They are not the best pics and definitely dont do the work justice but it will do for now. I'll take some good pics in the daylight when I have more time tomorrow so everyone can get the real effect... What do you think?
