Camaro 2011 engine not running for 2 years
I am about to buy a 2011 camaro, 6 miles on it, stayed on owner garage since he bought it, never started engine since...
What is the first thing i must to do, in order to keep engine and tranny safe for my future use? Tks |

Do an oil change on the spot. I'd also personally siphon the gas out and make a trip to get fresh gas.

What if i start it, drive at low rpm's to the next oil change station and let it achieve normal temp, and then have the oil and filter changed?

Parabems! Yeah I would change all the fluids as a safety measure too. That is great! a brand new 2 year old Camaro with 6 miles on it. Why did the owner not drive it? Is he just a collector? Boa Sorte!

I would say ur cool with driving to an oil change place.
You can take a quart out and add a quart to the top to at least get some oil to the top of the engine to have less of a dry start. |

It would be a good idea to change the oil and remove the gas and put in fresh gas. Ask if he put fuel stabilizer in the gas before he stored it. If so you might be ok with fuel I would still change it though. Good luck.

Before you fire it up. Pull the fuse for the fuel pump. Turn the engine over several times until you see the oil pressure register. put the fuse back in and start engine.
Drive it easy until you can get the oil changed. Siphon out as much of the old gas as possible, refill with fresh gas and enjoy the ride. |

With that low miles...I don't even know if you want to drive it lol. It's a modern car barn find if there is such a thing lol.
Then again I could just be very optimistic |

What i most like on 2010-2011 are the steering wheel , so classic, and the 20" wheels ....
