AAC Orcale halo installation
Hey guy I have a 2010 2ss and was wanting to get the amber halo's and fog lights. I was reading about having them done for u was expensive. I watched a video on how to do it. Decided against doing it myself. Went to the only body shop in town that said they do that kind of thing. He said it would cost $200 dollars for the installation. How ever I think he is thinking that I'm buying the head lights with the Amber halos in them already. Not pulling the stock halo's out of my current headlights and putting in the Amber/White dual colors and fog lights. Does this sound right to any of u?

$200 is pretty cheap for the halo install. Maybe talk with him and make sure he knows what's involved?

The installation of the halo into the headlight is pretty simple if you use a heat gun. The wiring part is harder just because you have to figure out how to wire them. I'd suggest you get somebody good with wiring electrical stuff and help you out.

I don't think your installer knows what he is getting himself into. $200 for removing the lights, installing the halos, and wiring is dirt, dirt cheap. Like mentioned before, talk to the installer and see if he knows all the steps involved. It's actually quite easier than you may believe. The hardest part is opening the lights. Once you can get past that you'll be good to go. Do a little research and do it yourself and save some money.
