Just got in my Adam's Polishes
I had watched all of Adam's polishes product videos, I wasn't sure about what I wanted to start with being a brand new car and what I wanted to dive into. I got the interior kit along with the VRT. The leather and interior cleaner along with leather conditioner worked flawlessly on the entire interior, It came from the factory and dealership looking great but after 3 weeks of owning it I noticed blotchy spots all over the interior. The leather conditioner turned it back to how it looked from the factory and better. I washed the car and used bleach white on the tires trying to get ride of the grease marks on the tires, I've used it before and made the tires look good, however this time I got the complete opposite, turned them rust colored and mismatched. Put a coat of the VRT on and made it look wet and shinny, then I had to test it, took it on a dirt parking lot to see if anything would stick. NOTHING, tires looked as if I never took it on to dirt. Im very highly impressed with the products, can't wait to get more from them!!!

Glad to hear you like the products but sounds like you hid whatever was on the tires with svrt?
Before applying it again next time try this:

APC from Adams works great for cleaning the tires as well. You can mix it 50/50.

Thank you for your business, glad you like the goods!
As the guys above mentioned, always be sure to thoroughly clean your tires of old dressing/oxidation before applying SVRT. Our APC works well for that.

Have you found it ever to be necessary to use full APC, non diluted? Wondering what dilutions you keep on hand, right now I have Full, 1:1 and 3:1, but I don't use it for interiors otherwise I'd probably have 8:1 and 10:1.

a brownish or rust color on tires is usually an indication that they still have mold release on them from manufacturing.
When a tire is made, the mold thats used is coated with a chemical that allows the tire to be easily popped out. It seems more and more companies get a little liberal with the mold release and it creates a brown ugly mess on the surface of the tires that has to be scrubbed off. Use full strength APC and a stiff tire brush like our Deep Clean Tire Scrub Brush. It may even take a few treatments to get them back to black. Once the brown stops showing up that'll be the end of it and you won't have to get so aggressive with the cleaning going forward. |

Everytime I do someones car I just use it straight. It's gotten to the point where the added strength of non diluted is worth the extra price. The gallon costs 15 normally and I get it for less than ten at a certain club so it's not like it's a lot of money to begin with.

I'm with Roshan. For tires, I don't really see any other alternative than to use an APC at full strength. Even better is using it with a foaming spray head.
The gunk and dirt that gets on them doesn't justify trying to dilute an APC. The only reason I'd dilute it is if you're running bare aluminum rims and you want to avoid having to polish them due to chemical staining from the APC. |

Wow, I have been using Mcguiers for years and I never would have imagined that there could be much of a substantial difference int he products given the price. I am reading more and more post praising Adams products. Looks like it is time to try some things out.
