Help!!! Heritage Grille ?

I'm purchasing a heritage grille here in the next few days but had a question that maybe someone here may be as to answer. Well, I'm planning on ordering an IBM grille but everywhere I look they say it includes the bowtie. Well I'm planning on putting the SS emblem in the center and was wondering if the grille has like any indentions from the bowtie that will prevent me from taking the bowtie off and putting the SS emblem there.

No it does not. Some people run the heritage grill with no emblem at all.

I ordered mine from Becky/Maureen. Pros at getting that bowtie off before they mail it to you

Mine came with the bowtie. I removed it and there is no signs of it ever being on there.

+1

Just remove the bow tie and install an SS emblem with mounting bracket for the heritage grill.

Same here - no problems with the Bowtie/SS swap. However, you will have to remove the whole front bumper/fascia to install the Heritage. Dealer put the grille in - I swapped out the emblems.

i did the swap in about 45 minutes. If your doing it yourself, jack the front up and remove the wheels to gain easier access.

I just did mine today. No damage from the bowtie bracket. I had one fin that was slightly tweaked, but a little heat from a hair dryer allowed me to straighten it back out and it looks perfect!
