12 inch Subwoofer ? Does it fit? p3
So I took the day off and decided to Wax and clean and detail the Camaro... So relaxing and I have to say I feel like my.... grew a few inches with all the neighbors coming up to the garage to see it lol
So All my parts are coming in today from ups... The Catback Borla Exhaust... The intake and the Harness to add My Aftermarket amp into car... Bought it From Sub Thump. figured that i would work all night into the early morning hours... and get it all done today.. well the first issue has come up.. haha This Damn small trunk!! I don't know how I'm going to fit this 12 inch P3... Like a dumbass... (I should have known Better) I had the wifey Run to Bestbuy to grab me a smaller box... Yeah... Ugh no... it fits inside... and feels like its made out of toilet paper lol!... but the Sub will never fit into it.. Do any of you have a 12 inch in the car? What Box should I get ? Will i need to get the Box custom made? was hoping i wouldn't have to spend a fortune Since I already have on everything else this week (including the car! lol) This is a Picture of the Subwoofer and the Crappy best buy box LOL ... (which I will be returning) My old box is too big to fit inside the trunk...

Did you try putting the back seat down and sliding it in that way?

i was under the impression that you can not put the back seat down... you can fold it Down a little from what I read on here to Explore the stock 12 inch Subwoofer.. but the Rest is metal behind it... no way to get into the Trunk ?
And the box that I have would be too big I think to Even get in that way if there was a way to do that lol |

Oh yeah not sure about the convertible, yeah the trunk opening sucks. I was just looking at sub boxes on Amazon pretty cheap and have a lot of sizes

seems that I'm running into an issue where i am thinking that maybe i will just build the box myself ...
Its crazy how small this trunk is not sure what other choice i have |

I ended up finding a smaller box that is sealed (my old one was ported) and it fit like a charm. This had to be the easiest system install I have ever done
