Ticking noise on driverside of engine at idle

I dont know if this is a characteristic of the LS-3, but at idle in the garage, I hear a ticking sound coming from the driverside location from around the exhaust. Is this normal or are there adjustments to be made to valves or rocker arms?

Noise In the lifters?

I have the same issue. It is on both sides of the motor but seems louder on the driver's side. I have about 550 miles on it. Does this go away? I've been reading other posts that say the LSX motors inherently sound like "sewing machines".

Getting nervous. Already had to take it back for a bad exhaust. I just had a Borla cat back installed and it could be me, but it seems to be a little louder. I doubt an exhaust leak cuz its on both sides and not sure how a cat back would affect noise by the heads.

Any thoughts?
