Also got new louvers...
along with the puddle lights I just posted, got new louvers in too. I know theres a lot of mixed opinions on them. but I love them. I have them on my 77 trans am as well and I just think they look great. I got these from uniqueautodepot.com for $225.00. paid for 3 day shipping and they came a day later. they are the E&G classics brand I think its called. what do you guys think? also, I know people are always curious on visibility. they definitely take away some, but its not too bad. still very safe vis during the day. at night mixed with the tint I cant see a damn thing, but its a worth it IMO.

Awesome! I want it bad! How does it attach? Easy cleaning for the underside? And I tried to look all over that site and cannot find. Can you post a direct link?

It has metal brackets with automotive 3m that attach 1st, 6 brackets total. You spray adhesion promotor and they just line up. Then the louver screws into them. Very easy installation, with great directions. Took about an hour. Heres the link http://www.uniqueautodepot.com/Chevy...14-3400-10.htm
as for side louvers im not sure if this company produces any. I didnt see any on that site... carid was the only other one I found who carries this model, they took my money and dicked me around for 3 weeks so id suggest staying away imo... but alls well now through auto depot. Also, thanks for the comments!! I appreciate it! |

As for cleaning its not bad. I just wipe between the louvers. If u want to remove them its equally simple. Just 6 screws and your good. You should get them, I get compliments everywhere! Except one friend... but he drives a ford ranger, so I guess you can say hes not rly a friend... haha

Haha awesome I had louvers on my 80 z28 and couldn't find any for the 12 that were reasonable. 225 isn't great but not as bad as 450 was the other ones I found
