Ownership Poll? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I did try to search but didnt find a poll. Just curious what the numbers are. Not dissing the V8 or V6 at all. Both wonderful machines. I loved them both. In the end, they are all Camaros. Never was able to drive a zl1

I think this Poll should reflect the CORRECT terms for the various Camaros, i.e. 1LS, 2LS, 1LT, 1LT/RS, 2LT, 2LT/RS, 1SS, 1SS/RS, 2SS, 2SS/RS, 1SS/1LE, 2SS/1LE, ZL1. If you are going to do a Poll, at least do it Right.

I agree, vette to camaro woulda have been nice.

The option to see who voted what didn't seem important as it is percentages I'm curious about. plus as a 1LT owner non RS owner for some time I get tired of people asking me if I got the big engine. Same with trims. You guys make great points though, I was scared a bigger poll might annoy too many.

If someone with more camaro knowledge (most of you) than me can craft a better one that would be sweet!

If it makes anyone feel better, there's always a faster or more fancy car. Heck, even though I took ownership of a used low milage 2SS vert for 31k I see all the 1LE threads and wonder if I should have held off for a nice used 1LE coup that's lighter and faster. ZL1 owners, who have one of the greatest trims of a great car line, might be second guessing over a C7.

The poll is intended as a celebration of camaro ownership. All camaros. It certainly isn't perfect but I tried to make it non judgmental with neutral language and fun.

Nah man. I could've paid cash for a ZR1. However I wouldn't have been very comfortable doing so. But bottom line is I wanted a Camaro. What I really wanted was to buy a brand new 2010 SS when they came out and it be my baby for always. But I wasn't in a position to do so at the time. So I had to settle for a ZL1.

But some ZL1, and other Camaro, folks will change horses. I've talked to plenty that had to have a Z06 when the came out, and then trade for a CTS-V, and then ZL1, and some of them will want to trade for a new Vette, it is what it is.
