None worth noting. It changes the sound from an H-Pipe but that is really about it.

Birm is 100% correct. The simple answer is, the only thing a crossover does is balance the backpressure between the two sides.

You won't find any noticable power gains from changing to the X-pipe. The factory H-pipe works fine although for LS engines in general I would recommend an X-pipe. A rule of them between the two....H-pipes make better low end torque and X-pipes are better for higher rpms and top end power. LS engines make their power higher in the rpm band, even the peak torque numbers are some what high compared to older small blocks.

My l99 pulls harder now that I went with a h pipe instead of my old x pipe.

If I remember correctly the TSP 3" x pipe made about 3-4hp over the stock pipes. That was on a mostly stock car though.

The issue is, he has no crossover at all. He's running true duals. I agree with the fact that the X has no big advantage over the H, but he will lose HP and TQ without a crossover at all.
