Wilwood Disc Brakes/Top End rebuild?

Hello gents,

I should be trading my 2012 SS for a 68 this week. The 68 I am getting has Drum Brakes (has a brake booster) all the way around and has a rebuilt 327 in it.

I am looking to throw some Disc brakes on the front. I am looking at the Wilwood 6 piston brake kit. Model: 140-10510-DR. This is the cheapest 6 piston kit they have...I don't know why, other than it is 12.19" diameter rotors. Is anyone else running this kit on a 1st GEN?

I am also looking at getting a top end rebuild kit for the 327 to give it a little more balls than the stock 327. The kits at Summit run around 2 grand and boast 400hp. Does anyone have experience with these kits?

Thanks alot
