Should I be worried about MPG?

I have a 2010 SS with 63k miles and I drive 90 miles every day to get to school and come home. On the way to campus I drive about 45 miles and I use about 1/2 of a 1/4 traveling those 45 miles. So I use about half a tank in 2 days going to school and back. So...is this about right?

In the end it totals about to 360 miles.

That is about right. I believe the official fuel range spec on the SS is 380 miles.

Oh ok, I was just worried because it feels as if this car burns through fuel a little more quick than my 6.0 GTO did.

Is that similar to 1/8?

If your commute is that long why not pick up a 4 cylinder beater?

What fun would that be?!

I like knowing I can pass a train of slow drivers because someone is afraid to pass an 18 wheeler, and then it just gets longer and longer. People still haven't realized that the limit is 75 even at night, so I tend to pass them because I don''t have that kind of patients.

You'd be amazed how much you'll save on gas by driving a 4 cylinder a few times a week. Plus all the miles

youre starting to get up there in miles i would change the fuel filter and do a fuel injector cleaner/fuel system cleaning if you havent alrady done it yet and check your intake filter as well. if its dirty change it to a fresh one or clean it and stay on top of your oil changes! that will also effect MPG. do u use 93/89 octane or 87? that might also be a factor. best of luck!
