Question about led footwell and dome light replacement

Since they are led do they still fade in and out like oem light or just off then on?

yup they will fade... as long as you connect the footwell lighting to the right wire they will fade as well

I installed the led footwell lighting, connected through the mirror wiring harness to go on with the dome and door open. My lights flicker when they go on and off. They don't fade.

Does anyone know if there is something to fix this, like may be a resistor or something?

The brand is Ledglow.

Any LED will fade in and out to a point then go off, we made some hand made LED doom light and they do fade, so it may be the brand you got, having to much of a resistor to work the way you want.

Lol I can't believe you tapped into the mirror light! No way get that out if there, underneath the steering wheel is 6 harness connected on one long strip, the very top there is a gray colorered harness with a gray wire, tap into that wire for both footwell a, your lights will now fade and not flicker, if either of you need help buying the led strips and bulbs it's easy to do for under 10-15$ . Let me know and I can help you, Paul - 480-695-3713. Text me I'll help you guys out.

Sorry, I should have been more specific on "where" exactly I began the wire tap. On Phastek I found instructions for their leds; I actually went through the passenger side, through the side of the dash. At first I went by a tutorial and tapped the "grey" wire under the steering column, but that tap made my remote start stop working and I started getting error codes. The way it's connected now works in all, it just breifly flickers on fade. I'm thinking it's the lights.

Ofer, do you make the underdash leds in aqua?

Yes they do make them in aqua, you must have tapped the wrong gray wire (there's 4 under there) I did it to two camaros the other day and everything works fine, the gray wire is only the dome light and does not interfere with anything else. You sure you got the right gray wire? It could be that the lights don't support voltage that low on dimming, but there are people who make aqua strips.
