Unusual sound
Every one in a while, and only while I push on the accelerator, I get this metallic sound. To me, it sounds like something metal rubbing something else (maybe something rubbing or jingling or dragging I'm not sure how to explain it). It doesn't happen that often, and like I said ONLY if I give it gas, if I let off and coast it goes away, give it gas it comes back then suddenly goes silent after a random amount of time.
Not sure if it's related but whenever I make a hard left (by hard I mean either on the freeway or hitting a wide turn at ~20mph) I can hear another noise like something shifted underneath the car on the passenger side. I saw another thread on here kind of like this but can't seem to find it so I apologize in advance on double posting. If I'm remember correctly some of the people on that thread thought it might be or was the exhaust not fully bolted so it was loose. Does that sound like it may be the case? I do have a cold air intake installed, no other performance mods besides that but I'm quite certain it's not that because I'm pretty sure I heard it on rare occasions before it was installed. For now please operate under the assumption that there is no problem due to the cai. I called my dealer I got it from, the only one for 50 miles, but the guy in the service department said they can't get me in until this Saturday (my fault not theirs since I work until at least 6 and can't get off early enough to get there.) |

I think it is the throttle body letting in air and cutting it off, but I may be wrong.
