They ran a Zl1 against some dedicated electric race cars at Milan. I think they must have taken the slowest time (12.7) to compare to the electrics - all had slicks except for the Zl1.

Then they ran the new Tesla against a Zl1 with the same result. I usually like the show for a good laugh but for this one I have to call BS. I'm aware of max torque at 0 RPM for the electrics, but they didn't launch the Camaro well at all.

Yea I saw that. Bogus comparison. That ZL1 spun for the first 60 ft. Big shocker from the guys at Top Gear.

Now the dragster was in a league of it's own. Pretty damn fast.

yup, lets burn up the tires doing donuts for a half hour then try and race it. and when you do dont launch it, **** it just flogg it!

That is just as bad as when they compared the 2010 SS to a C63 AMG

I have watched the UK Top Gear for years and love it. I only watched the US version one time and they just don't have the chemistry so I never really watched it again. At some point in the next series they will have to test the C7 and I hope the Z/28 is made available for them as well. I really want to see what time is can put up on their test track when the Stig takes it for a spin.

Also, Jeremy Clarkson punched Piers Morgan in the face he can like whatever he wants. Man should be Knighted for it.

I tried watching the USA version once. Was just a bad rip off of the original. Haven't been back. But, the UK guys don't go nice on American cars either. Going up and pushing on the back of a Vette and complaining that it's made out of plastic. Whatever? At least the original is actually funny.
