ADM TT ZL1 GOES 201.9 MPH

ADM performance built twin turbo ZL1 just went 201.9 mph at the Texas Mile, the car went 166.9 at the half mile marker. This was done through a 6L90 automatic transmission with the stock converter, stock GM LS9 cam, stock throttle body, stock rear & gears ADM modified AGP twin turbo system! This goes to show you cant beat GM engineering mixed with the right after market companies, then put together & tuned by someone that knows what they're doing. I want to congratulate Andy, Ben & Drew for building me a badass car! This car is as beautiful from top to bottom as it is fast/quick!

This may seem like a dumb question and I did read up on advantages/disadvantages of a turbocharger and the same with superchargers. One interesting production car is the VW diesel Jetta with one of each!

So here be the question: turbochargers big disadvantage is the lag before kicking in. Does having two minimize this at all or do they work in tandem? Just wondering why I have seen so many twin turbos, both production like the new Caddy and custom builds.

Thanks.

No, just packaging.

Proper sizing and design of system minimizes lag. You could have 700ft/lbs at 2000 rpm if you want with the correct turbos. Then again spinning tires from excessive low end doesn't make you fast so something that comes on later and smoother tends to perform better.

This is a beautifully engineered car, and it's lightning fast... In addition to its owner being a true class act... Mylftft, Josh, it was my pleasure to get to meet you and spend time... The car is amazing... I'm seriously thinking about the Mojave mile... If your interested...

That was a sweet looking car. Other than a few stickers and an oval with a number on it looked totally stock. But, saw it on a trailer though.

Congrats
