2011 v6 camaro vs 05 gt mustang
I have a stock 2011 v6 camaro, and my buddy just got a 2005 mustang gt, and he's wanting to race me. His is rated at 300 hp, and mine is rated at 312 hp. Who do y'all think would win. His is stock also.

They weigh about 3500 lbs and will have more torque...the GT gets the win stock for stock. Horsepower wins arguments, torque wins races.

depends... is his a manual or an automatic? There is always a chance he could blow his launch!!
 My brand new 2010 vs a Shelby GT (NOT A GT500!!!). This is a case of beating the driver and not the car... GT should be you.... but hey you never know! LOL

With a few bolt on's i raced a 2003 GT don't know what it had but i know it had a exhaust system for sure. Beat him.
Wont say you will lose. And those HP numbers are at the crank. Hes lighter but older and chances are the motor is not in its prime. Hes got a weight advantage for sure but i think it would be a close race. |

He will win. I raced an 05 GT when I had my 2011 1LT/RS with a trifecta tune (aggresive tune) and a CAI intake. I had a bit weight reduction, was running ethanol free 93 octane, and tire psi adjusted in pzero's for track. I won by a bit, but was close.
