so after driving in paddle-shift mode for 6 months getting 14.4 MPG i decided to experiment.. i drove the whole way home from work today in helicopter mode and only got 21.6 MPG at peak cruising at 60-65 or so. when i got home i was at 20.3 MPG (higher than advertised combined MPG) i grannied it to keep it in 4 cylinders the whole way (on the highway).. how do you get 24mpg highway as advertised? i run 93 octane

I leave mine in "D" when driving to and from work and average 17.5 MPG. Out on the Interstate, I average 23 MPG and that's with AFM tuned off.

I can get 23-24 on interstates (70-ish mph) with Range AFM Defeat plugged in (no AFM). Around town I use Sport Mode mostly and get 18-20 with no problem. (I don't run super hard but, I don't "Granny" it either).

You'll never even get close to 24 using the paddles (or 20, for that matter).

I always drive in M mode and tapshift 99% of the time, sport mode whenever im cruising on the highway. I average around 18.8mpg
