Fellow 2014 owners, I have a quick question
I've had the car since August, and so far it has been great. Something I noticed that I found weird was in the tail lights when the lights are on. There seems to be an unused section of the lens that doesn't actually light up. I'm talking about the inner most section, closest to the chevy badge on the trunk. You've got the outer most section, which is your turn signal, in the middle is the white reverse light, then another red section that doesn't light up at all. Is this normal or do I have some bad LEDs? Is that just a reflector in there? I hope I've conveyed what I'm trying to say in text, it's a little hard to describe. Thanks!

RE reading the first post & looking @ my pics, the inner most part of the lite is just a reflector so to speak. If you don't have the full outline, then you have something wrong with the lead's...

Right, my brake lights are fine. I guess the question is with the turn signal section. The white part of the tail light. When the turn signal is on, just the outer part of the light blinks. I just found it strange that there is a section of the tail light that doesn't seem to have any function. It would be the equivalent of if you were looking at a '10-'13 model, the two inner tail lights wouldn't light up. Turn signal doesn't light them up, hazards don't, just putting on the headlights.... Seems like a strange oversight.

It could be for a rear fog light in Europe but is blank here since they aren't required.
