There is one in north hollywood.

The guy must think its made of gold though because he wanted double GM's cost for a used wiring harness. It may be cheaper to buy the whole car new than to go there to get his used parts.

That is FREQUENTLY the case. I've seen junkyards charge two to three times the price or what a BRAND-NEW part would cost from the manufacturer. They rely on the fact that many (uninformed!) customers simply ASSUME that the junkyard is a bargain... and that they are getting the very best possible deal there.

I've seen that a pawn shops, too: Seen worn out, badly weathered, battered, beaten crap guns with a higher sales price than the same model... brand- new! Why? Because again, many customers simply assume that this is their best bargain... without doing their homework first to see what the REAL value of a given item is.

So... use caution, especially with junkyards and pawn shops!
