Stroker kit?

I have a 2010 ss 6 speed. I have cai, headers, full exhaust, cam and a tune making 470 rwhp. I have plans of turboing the car later on but for now im looking to do a stroker kit to build the bottom end so when I do put the turbo on, the motor will hold up to more boost. I still want to gain some hp from the kit but I also want to be able to run pump gas after the turbo is added, so I need to go low compression. What are the specs of your kit, price?, what is your compression ratio, and what kinda power did you make from your kit. Any input would help thanks

Why do you want low compression? I'm going 10:8.1 and will be running up around 20 psi next year. Compression is your friend.

What about meth? My build is around 93 with meth. I'll run race gas for extra safety but I don't think we'll tune for it.

I was running a TVS 2300 on a forged 376 but reverently melted two motors in two months. Figured I needed a new shop. Lol

Yea you dont need to go to low on your Compression. If you go to low the motor will be a dog down low. We see alot of people going 8.5 ish compression and i still dont get why.

High 9s low 10s will work perfect for just pump gas, and if you are going to run METH 24/7 you could go even higher like already stated. Take as little out of the CYL walls as you can. if you can stay stock or go only .03 then do that. the Ls3 block is known for egg shaping once you go really big on the bore and high HP. Your gong the right route, get the motor built first then put on the PSI!

If your on a budget you can also for now just do the bottom end and keep running the stock heads and intake till you get the funds needed.

+1 went up a little on my current build and wish I had gone up even more. Can't get enough air out of the 2.3 blower for the 427.
