Popping sound?

Is it normal for there to be a popping sound when I take my foot off the gas? I have an exhaust on and someone told me that that's not good. Just wanna make sure.

Totally normal. Its the Deceleration Fuel Cut Off going into effect. You can tune it out if you dont like it.

It's called overrun or dieseling. Essentially it's fuel igniting without a spark. Sounds awesome. As to any cause for concern....I'll start worrying when shit starts flying of the car or when I need to stall the engine to stop it running.

You definitely drive a manual then. Normal on the LS3.

This. It is not a problem of any kind. No need to be worried unless you don't like the way it sounds.
