2-Tone Paint as an Option?

I would be interested in knowing how many would like to see GM offer 2-Tone Paint as an option? Similar to the Dale JR Edition, but with other paint combos such as IBM / Silver ... Black / CGM ... etc.

I do like two-tone paint jobs and plan on getting it done to my Camaro. But the more you ask GM to do at the factory, the more the overall price is going to go up.

Sorry man, i can't support ya here. I like some two tone paint jobs, but thats gonna be an expensive freakin option. Not enough people are going to get it to justify having the option.

I'm still waiting on the poll where we vote on if GM should give us the Camaro for free

I don't see why not. Everyday I pass a ford dealership with 10's of dozens of two tone paint Mustangs and thats WITHOUT exaggeration. It can happen, I think the overall judgement on the paint job is good. The only thing that would be litmited at first is the options on colors, but even that will change.

I've seen those same mustangs in neon pink and neon orange, 2-tone. If thats possible, anything is (and that was at the dealership!)

The dealership probably had them painted two-tone themselves, cause Ford doesn't offer them that way on their website.

although some two-tone paint jobs look nice, i would have to say to save this option for the custom paint shop.

No problem dude! I'm merely trying to see if anyone else here is also thinking of having their Camaros 2-Toned as well. The more I think about what primary colour I would choose and then what colour of stripes I would get, also the fact of having to replace the stripes every 5 years or so, I find that the 2-Tone option would better suit my needs. I'm actually thinking of getting Cyber Gray as the factory colour and then have the bottom half painted in Jet Stream Blue. Should look awesome even if it costs $2000 - $2500 a price I don't mind paying if it gives me the look that I want and will last the life of the car.

Yeah, your right. I'm sure these guys know how to paint with quality. To me, same thing factory or dealership. The dealership wouldn't paint it if it looked like garbage.

I don't know about you guys, but I've seen WAY too many 300C's w/ the two tone paint, and quite frankly, I'm tired of it. There was an actually decent one the other day, but I've seen a YELLOW 300 w/ a BLUE top. WTF? Oh and not to mention the over crowding chrome.

i really dont want it as a factory option, it will make your car more unique and custom if you have it done and there isnt a million other cars that look just like it.

hey pink,
will you have a line seperating the two colors you want?
that would look sweet.
