Been noticing an odd oil burning odor for quiet some time now...just thought it was from other cars...

A couple days ago I laid down beneath my car for a quick inspection and found the driver's side inner (closer to the diff) CV boot leaking grease and it's gotten all over my exhaust pipe.

Anyone experience this issue?

Also, I'm in Socal (Whittier to be exact), what Chevy dealer to choose for the repairs. I'm always a bit reluctant to go to the dealer service shops for anything...

sounds like a simple warranty fix. Don't be worried about fixing an obvious issue like this. I would hope any dealer could fix this with ease.

Update for anyone interested.

Took car into Premier Chevrolet in Buena Park, CA. (socal). They checked it out immediately and ordered a complete axle assembly. Sent me off and will call me when axle assembly arrives from factory I guess. A week or so they said.

Great service thus far. Will update after repairs are made.

It's not a big deal...next time you smell the same next to either other cars,or other people all the time,it's either your car,or your passenger crapped their pants from your driving,lol.
