2014 L99 exhaust setup!
My '14 SS doesn't sound aggressive enough so here's my planned setup:
SLP Loudmouth 1 (On its way) Cold Air Inductions CAI (On its way) Summit Racing X-Pipe TSP 7/8 headers If I stick with the stock cats (I live in Cali so in six years everything is going back ) will I lose performance? Anyone else have a similar setup? Thanks!

You can't keep stock cats with long tubes.

Pretty sure you can get HF cats from Texas Speed.
You might want to re-think some of this. You've mixed and will need to match different manufactures such as the X-pipe in the middle. Why not just get a complete catback? Then by headers and cats to mate up to it. Since you will be tuning AFM will obviously be tuned out but you will get quite a bit of drone with this setup, but that's a personal preference. |

Get TSP headers and HFC, and a catback of your choice. I had the Borla S type and drone was terrible. Got the SW Retro now and the drone is gone. My .02 cents.

If I got a catback setup I would have to opt out a couple hundred more and sell the axleback . Is it the headers that will cause the drone or something else? and has anyone else on this forum have any success without a catback system? I can live with drone if it'll save me a couple hundred (I'm a mostly local driver and I have my speakers turned up high most of the time anyways).

In fact TS sells all the SLP stuff you would need. |

You will have to deal with the AFM noise when it switches to 4 cylinder mode, but there are ways to deal with that if it bothers you. |

There you go...
Getting the trash cans off the rear and some good sound from the axle back is #1 then. |
