1968 GTO f/s Matching numbers

Location: Pomona, California (91767) - Southern California

My dad bought this as a second owner, he gave it to me a few years ago. I just moved to a house that does not have a garage, and will not have the time / funds to fix it up w/ kid #2 on the way

Dash reads some 34k miles, per my dad, they're all original and accurate.

from what he has told me:

its a 400ci
Auto Trans
Matching numbers
Not original wheels
Has not ran in 15 years because he put it in storage. he drove it into our last garage and let it sit there for 15 (or more) years now. he drained out all of the fluids before doing so.
Electric windows
Electric Door locks
Hide away headlights
A/C - but is missing components
Original Paint


From visual stand point
Red w/ white vinyl top
trunk was pried open (looks like several times) which caused damage to the trunk lid.
White leather interior in pretty good condition for how hold it is (the vinyl top from inside is destroyed, but seats and dash are all good (to me))

It has been sitting under a tarp for 2 weeks now, and i know the weather is going to quickly destroy it.

I was offered $11,000 before i knew i was moving (about 7-9 months ago) and $15,000 about 2-3 years ago.

So I will be willing to take $10,000 to compensate registration / paperwork / travel expenses, but wont take less than that or my husband will flip. The sooner the better, it is a great fixer upper!

I don't know how to open the hood of the car (and a few others have tried) but couldn't get it unlatched. It has opened though, and was recent... like a few months or so ago, but can't seem to figure it out anymore... lol
