My first call to Chevrolet Customer Service...for a noise complaint!!

My 2014 1LE has a creaking noise when I drive over bumps. Has Anybody had this noise before and had it repaired? I road tested with my Service Advisor from my dealership and after keeping my vehicle for the day he let me know they were "unable to locate the source" of the noise. The tech lubricated and retorqued my rear suspension. My suspicion is the noise is from a trim panel. After my advisor said there is nothing that can be done until the noise gets louder or a TSB is formed I felt let down. I've put a call into Customer Service because I may end up trying to get out of this car. I was told a district manager would get in touch with me this upcoming week. has anyone had a situation like this before? What is the likelihood of a buyback?

I dont understand getting rid of a brand new car for a little noise , is it like an old farm truck creak, or a sound like new suspension compressing as you go over a bump? The car is new, maybe the suspension needs a break in.

The only way I will request a repurchase is if the repair cannot be made after 3 attempts. The car line I work for has repurchased plenty of cars for body creaks and noises that can't be repaired. The dealership has asked that I wait for the noise to get worse then return for another repair attempt. That's a joke. The tech is also a detective when it comes to repairing any vehicle with any problem. I will continue using this dealership considering I am within 100 yards of the shop.

The noise I am hearing is coming from the R/R quarter panel area. Sounds to me like trim rubbing on metal that needs insulating.

I hear ya .... but g.m. is never gonna buy back anything with a creaking noise
be prepared to lose .....
you don't like car ? trade in for different one
you must work for a high end car company .....a car that costs 100k is more likely to get bought back than a car that cost 35k
you know where the creak is ? tell em and get it fixed
