I Know I'm Stupid, But What's The Best Way To...

...put a new "Camaro" badge on the front fenders? I bought the painted black version from Lupe and want to apply them. What is the best way to put the letters on without being crooked and having the correct spacing between letters? I am a real klutz and know I won't put the letters on evenly. To make matters worse, I am extremely anal about things being "just right" on my car.

Thanks.

I put some on my son's Camaro and this is what I did. First I took some 1" wide masking tape and used it to mark the top and bottom and starting position of the original letters before removing them. After I removed them I then put the first letter on using the masking tape as a guide. I then used a 1/4" wide pinstripe tape for the side spacing. Then put the second letter on, then another piece of 1/4" pinstripe tape for spacing. I continued until all letters were put on.

This!

Here is what I did when I replaced mine... I might suggest you use a heat gun it makes removal ALOT easier..

Best of luck
