1981 camaro

I have a 1981 camaro I changed out the holley 4 barrely carburetor with the electric choke spark plugs and battery to just to get it started it turns but wont stay running can i get some advice please

Might want to try a forum that is specific to that generation of car, this one is primarily for the 5th generation cars.

Choke may be too tight or in need of adjustment.
We find they need very little preload
Just enough to Just close the Blade with the throttle open not running and cold.
