have you checked to make sure that cylinder 7 injector is still plugged in?

try tapping on it with a screwdriver it could be stuck and not pulsing...o dont know of anything other than hardware that can cause that code

thats my two cents

sorry man i can help anymore....if you had a bad injector you should have gotten a different code for a different cylinder when you switched it.....the only other thing i can think of is a tune that needs to be changed but you'll most likely need a scanner and some data logging to actually see whats going on inside..good luck and keep us posted

any other ideas? it ran good for 2 different 10+ mile trips yesterday after i swapped
injectors.

the only reason i say that is from my Knowledge your pcm is the only other thing that controls your injector pulse width. and from that code it seems if i have understood it correctly the injector is staying open to long... it also seems unlikely to me that your tune all of a sudden is giving you problems.

i think no matter who else responds to this thread that knows more about this then me or you is still going to want you to either log the data your self or want to have the car to view whats happening on a scanner. i am not a master tech but i have worked long enough on cars to know when all else fails put it on a scanner and watch it fail.

If your using HPtuners than you can easily take a log file and post it on there forum for the wiz kids to look at for you they are in my experience VERY helpful when you need it the most. i dont know if any other tuning software has that ability because ive not used anything else

could be a failed injector driver within the PCM and i have no idea how or why that could happen...one if the reasons i suggested a tune problem...you could always flash back to factory and see what happens

the other possibility that came to mine was a coil not firing correctly? maybe swap coils

This code and the fact that you swapped the injector and the problem persists in the same cylinder indicates an ECM or wire harness Problem.

An injector driver failure is likely but would not be a result of a tune.

Ted.

thanks for the replies, Ted how would one fix an injector driver? would that mean a bad pcm? i tried putting some dielectric grease on the connector and fired the car back up and it started and ran ok.

Replace the ECM.

Before I would submit to an ECM replacement, I would check the driver wire and ground at the ECM. If you are not comfortable doing it, have the dealer do it. You will wind up there anyway because they have to program the new ECM, if one is needed, before the car will run.
