Bowtie lighting idea for floor wells

I was recently turned on to an idea from a Mini Cooper owning friend of mine. Mini has an aftermarket lighting system installed in their floorwells that shine the Mini Cooper Logo onto the floor mat. Multiple searches of varying combinations of words in Google only get me pictures of that lighted exterior bowtie system that is connected to the brakelights. Has anyone seen anything like this or know how i could possibly make this happen?

Ofer at Gen5Diy sells something like that, i think it is called a Puddle Light, it shines the bowtie logo, and is designed to be installed under the door sill so it lights up when you open the door, but I'm sure it could be modded for the footwell.
