What parts could you use from a v6 on a v8?

If you swapped over the v6 engine to a v8, could you use the radiator? And what parts need to be swapped in doing this? Would you be able to put in a v8 trans without having any fitment issues? I can't find any answers to it!

I seem to recall reading that everything from the engine back would require replacement--trans, driveline, rear-end and axles. I may be wrong....

Engine, trans, drive shaft for sure. The rear end can be left in if the person wants to leave it. It still bolts up to the stock SS shaft. When V6's do the swap from the 7.6" rear to the 8.6" rear they have to use the V6 drive shaft because the SS shaft is too short. So I guess this means that the SS transmission is longer than the V6. Or the transmission is the same size but the two extra cylinders are pushing the it further back lol.

There was a guy that did this swap and posted a few days ago, so I'm sure he could tell you everything you need to know if you can find the thread. I'm pretty sure everything would fit, but it would still be a monster pain in the ass. But a pain that was well worth it though.

Including the driver....
it seems you've posted this question before - maybe you didn't like the answers then? Anyway, let us know how it turns out if you go that route.
