Dyno Numbers
Well it's Christmas time and I'm preparing to get a little work done
A recommended tuner in my area suggested doing the following mods below and said I should net between 530-550 rwhp, manual trans ZL1. Weapon X Heat Track Attack Heat Exchanger ID 850CC Injectors Lingenfelter Upper 2.55/2.35” Upper Lingenfelter Solid Isolator JLT Intake Custom Tune for 91 Octane Knowing me I'll want more but I need to keep it mild for the street and the costs respectable without going cheap. Just thought I'd get a little more power with these mods but maybe it's on target? Suggestions/Recommendations? Was looking to net around 575 rwhp without doing a cam... Thanks

If you're not lookign to do a lower pulley, I suggest going with the following:
Metco 2.4" pulley Metco 100mm idler pulley Metco Solid isolator ID850 injectors Roto-Fab intake system Ron Davis Heat exchanger Belt Tune This combo should get you right around 580 at the wheels through the M6. If I can be of any assistance, let me know. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

I wouldn't bother with the heat exchanger just yet. Try adding a reservoir like the Rotofab/Lingenfelter. It holds an extra gallon of blower coolant. Unless you are road racing it. For just a street car I would just do the reservoir. I'm stock with headers, Rotofab cold air, and a tune on 91. I put down 545rwhp. You should be able to get 575-600 out of it. You could also add a meth kit to get extra octane and be able to raise the timing a little more. Just tie the added timimg to real low IAT2's. That way if the meth doesn't spray or stops spraying the timing goes back to a safe level.
