Belle Tire or Discount Tire ok for new ZL1 wheel mounting balance ?

Just curious if these two are ok for these tires/wheels... Meaning they won't scratch or mess up the wheels? Just asking because they are close to me...

Or would a Chevy dealer that sells camaros be better? There's one even closer...

Thanks

I wouldn't think it matters who does it, but what equipment/machines are being used in the process. Check and ask what they use in their shop.. the Hunter machines seem to have a great reputation..

+1 Discount tire over dealer as they sell performance wheels all day and have expierence mounting them. I usually ask for the top mounter and watch them do it. They have a ton of respect for the car and won't screw up if it's the top guy. Mine even asked for a ride when I finally put them on..

+1 Discount Tire... I've been thru SOO many different sets of wheels/tires for all my cars, trucks, 4 wheelers... never have they damaged anything.

Discount tire!!!

+3

They have done all of my vehicles with the exception of one where they didn't trust the machine to not scratch my 23" Lowenhart wheels. That's all they do is tires and wheels.

Great, thanks everybody.. Discount Tire it is. Been going to Belle Tire for all of my cheap cars forever cause I simply don't really care what they do as long as they ride smooth, and I hand carry my Camaro tires in for balancing... but this is my first real expensive wheel/tire upgrade... want to get it right.

Appreciate the feedback!

BTW, Stock ZL1 Front on left, and stock 2SS front on right.

Doesn't matter where you go. The work quality solely depends on the person doing the work!

True that. the fact that they only do tires makes me feel like they are better than someone like Belle Tire that does everything.

BTW, I had them mounted, everything's perfect no scratches.

I asked the guy if they are harder than normal he said no, and they just had some Ferrari in there and the wheels cost $3500 each, and if you scratch them they are junk.. Also that the center single lug nut that is torqued to some 300lb ft... so that put any concern to rest.
