The 5.0 has airade cai..borla cat back exhaust. He has goodyear eagle 1 rear tires. I have k@N cai...jba shorty headers.....solo hi flow cats...vmax throttlebody...magnaflow competition exhaust.

It was a Brembo package from the looks of the wheels and the front brakes so yes.

Deki is right....really I wanted to see if my shorty headers and vmax throttlebody mods helped...and the 5.0 installed steeda lower control arms for wheel hop. Both our mods helped. Traction was in issue ..the manual is hard to launch....he stayed just out of the video about half a car the whole way. Armdrop drag racing is a lot of fun ,if you can attend an event I recommend it .

Just talked to my 5.0 bud....he said that he is going to be looking for me...may have to give him another run to even things up....I think he is still a little still. I said quit your and lets go.

Stock, the SS & 5.0 are equal competitors. All comes down to drivers/mods.

Last year I always got the jump on him from a dig...then near the top of second he would pull even ..going into third he would pass me..from a roll same story. Over the winter I installed jba shorty headers to go with my solo hi flows..also added a vmax throttlebody. This year when I got the jump on him , he couldn't reel me in. He would stay right at my rear bumper. Last year I beat him once...by a fender....the rest was all him.

Gotta love the friendly Camaro vs. Mustang rivalry!

Its auctually alot of fun..i really like his car. Its nice to compare straight up with your rival...no magazine numbers....no tall tales...just race. Sometimes you win ...sometimes you lose. It was better tonight...side by side on the closed road by our house. He jumped out in front but i slowly crept up to the point we were fender to fender. The road ends so we had to shut it down. Its going to suck when the new subdivision goes in there.

Over 2.5 hours to the good one..i drove 3 hours the last time...i really wish i was closer......they are not as common in canada as they are in the usa. Im thinking about going to the army base..10 mins from my house and trying to set up an arm drop drag racing event. Im not sure what it invovles.

Unfortunately, the Army base thing doesn't supply a time slip and all the valuable info that goes along with it ...

Yes I know that....I would like to run on the timed track...but I'm going to wait till I'm tuned...it's a long way
