Unhappy about Paint Warranty Repair
So I took my 1LE to a Local GM Dealership that has a collision center and had them fix my paint chipping around the rear parking sensors, the paint is fixed (they actually replaced the whole skin) but no the bumper doesnt line up. Below are the 4 issues:
1. Doesnt line up with Driver side Wheel Well 2. Doesnt line up with Passenger side Wheel Well 3. Bumper skin is actually rubbing against the body right in the top right hand corner by the taillight on the passenger side. 4. You can notice that there is no paint on the underside and in the corners of the skin its very noticeable. * Extra there was crushed up Cheetos in my trunk the day I picked it up as well * I am taking the car back on Monday and the manager seems to think its going to be a quick 30 min fix, but it wont and I dont want to be without my car for another week or 2. Is it unreasonable for me to ask them for a nice loaner (Cadillac/Camaro/Vette) as the first time they stuck me with a Rav4 from Discount which I hated and I have bought multiple vehicles from them (My Camaro, 2014 SLT Sierra and a 2014 Stingray for my dad). I will keep everyone posted and if I am not satisfied this time around I will post the dealerships name. |

Sorry for the late reply, the car wasn't wrecked its just a horrible job, I had my painter (non gm employee) look into it and he pointed out some other issues with dirt in the paint and some very light spots. I'll update everyone after I drop by the dealership today.
