Both are good upgrades. I recently swapped to 3.91's and really like them. They do take a little getting use and your MPG's will drop a little, if that's important to you. I average about 1 MPG less, overall as shown in my DIC. I use to average 18 and now it's consistently 16.9. A properly setup converter will keep you in your powerband throughout your run down the track. Sticky tires are a MUST though.

Are you asking what tires when you say what "set up" or are you trying to decide what converter to get??
