V6 Performance Module Chip?

I've been researching for a while now and found many interesting upgrades for the V6 engine of the Camaro. One thing I'm very interested in but haven't found anything about it is a performance module chip.

So I wanted to ask, is there any PMC for the V6 yet? Anybody knows about a shop in FL (preferable in Broward or up) that can tune the V6?

Pleaaasseeee let me know anything!

Heres a non BS answer..

1) Only one company (Trifecta Performance) is doing tunes on the Camaro V6 currently. Nothing but good reviews about their service so far.

2)Tuning a stock car will yield very little results in the way of extra performance. If you have an automatic, he can also tweak the tranny for firmer shifts and can change shift points. But really, as far as optimizing the engine, no-one can get much more out of it with just a tune, so really unless you want the transmission tune, then getting a tune is really only good for modded cars (Headers, Forced Induction...stuff like that)

Thanks KM,

My camaro currently just have an exhaust and Injen CAI. I'm planning on putting the BBK long tube headers, and the 3.73 gears. After that I wanted to try a tune to see if things can get a bit better. I'm gonna contact trifecta and see what they say.

Cool! Your going to have one very quick LLT after that is done!

Yeah...trifecta (specifically, Vince) will be the one you will likely contact and he will get you what you need.

This right here.

I got the tune when I only had axle back and Airaid. Didn't really do much (except for the trans tune which made a huge difference). But if you get headers (especially Long Tube) get the tune. My car was dynoed after the headers were put on (but before the tune) and looking at the charts you can see power is cutting out because the sensors are going crazy.

actually that is not a joke for other v6 cars. for an example, the new 2011 v6 mustang are getting up to 30 hp rwhp on stock car with sct, diablo, and other tuners. Sct bama offer fee lifetime tune and can store up to 3 tunes like 87 street, 93 performance, 93 race, and you can also go back to stock anytime. With other mods they are gaining 50plus with simple bolt on, so yes other v6's are getting nothing but love.
Try to even advance 1 degree of timing on our v6 and you might be looking at knocking central, I just dont understand why gm didnt give us v6'ers any room to play with but it seem like tampa tuning is now looking into tuning but I am sure it will be another diablo case and if there was any good gains to be made than trifecta probably already done it instead of offering tweaks to your existing mod or tranny shift points and etc..

im not refering to that ebay crap either, I dont know what the eff that is
just imagine if our engine can be tuned like I mentioned above.
