3.91 Gear Swap (SS) Houston Area

Have any of you guys done a gear swap in your cars in the Houston area? If so, who'd you use and what did you pay? Any issues with them afterwards?

I have a '14 SS and am wanting to swap to the GM 3.91 gears.

I have a tech in my service dept that has done a few. We definitely aren't going to be the cheapest since it's a Chevy dealership, but It will be done 100% right and come with a 12 month warranty on the labor/install.

I used G-Force in Pearland for my GM 3.91 install. No gear whine at all. One of my favorite mods to date.

What did you pay?

So far I've gotten quotes from Pyle Bros in Baytown and Fast Automotive.

curious too. I'm wanting to add the 1LE suspension to my car, and the gears. Wondering what it runs for the gears themselves and the install.

GM 3.91 gears from JDP or Apex are $450. Cheapest labor I've found was $500 at Fast Automotive. Or $980 if they provide the gearset. (Exact same gearset JDP sells.)

I've got 1700 miles of my 3.45 LS3 rear. Please PM me with any info you have. I'm willing to travel within Texas if I can save a few bucks. Will likely get quality poly subframe bushings installed while the differential is out.
