Side skirting to cover rust? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello,
I bought my first Camaro yesterday. She is a 1995. There is a good size whole from something hitting it or just cause I live in Michigan. Anyways, on other cars I usually just take care of the rust and Bondo the hole. Name: 20140701_185011.jpg

Is there a way I can take care of the rust, then buy a side skirt that goes over the existing rocker? I'm new to the aftermarket body parts. I found this... http://www.c2cfabrication.com/store/...cker-panel-lh/
but am not sure how hard it will be to remove the old welds and try to put a new one on? Any ideas or tips would be great. Thank you
