Maybe its just me... but from the blurry spy shots I've seen I really do not like the speedo/tach, the other gauges down by the shifter look fine, but I just cannot stand the two gauges I'll be spending the most eye time on...
Anyone else share my feelings here? Or does everyone else know something I don't and they aren't going to look like that? |

Yeah...I sat in a G8 today, and I loved those gauges...would be nice if it showed the redline, but hey..lol

i'm still trying to decide if i like them or not, i want to sit in one...but its like fbodfather said the interior is only 65% complete, there are still many things to be done. alot could change from now to then.

i dont care either way about the gauges honestly. the only time im going to be looking at the speedo is when i see mustang head lights in the mirror (or cop lights...lol)
as for the tach, i dont watch a tach to know when to shift, i drive by feel.

Ah, was unaware that it was only 65% complete. Who knows, maybe something will change.

Yup. They're not my favorite possible design, but they're also very distinctive, which is nice. I'll of course wait until the final production model is revealed and I see it and sit in it in person before making a final judgment, but based on the 65% finished model we've seen, I'd give them a 7/10.

They are certainly different than most anything I've seen; almost a little too much. However, I appreciate the styling cues it seems they come from and with that in mind, thinl they are great. I'm planning on adding some Autometer Cobalts anyways, so if it doesn't have a redline, my tach will let me know when to shift.

Me too! As long as they clean up the interior and everything fits and has a much more finished look than the spyshots then I'll be happy. Based on what fbodfather has said we won't be disappointed. Look at the G8 and CTS interiors... I love those interior so no reason the Camaro's interior won't be equally impressive.
