Best way to store car over winter?
What should I do? Just park it with some fuel stabilizer in it or do I have to pull off the tires and put it on blocks or what? What is the best way to store a car over winter, what do you do to prep the car for storage (ex fuel stabilizer and what else?)?

If it's just for the winter, I never do anything but keep a battery maintainer on it and store it in a heated garage. I've been doing this for twenty years and never had any problems. I do run mine a couple of times during the winter just to heat them up for a while to relube.

Clean and dry out your garage or space thoroughly..
Fill gas tank to full Wash car and wax Change the oil and allow to run and warm up. Remove battery Inflate tires to 40-42 PSI (and maintain that) Put a large vinyl sheet on concrete under car to prevent moisture under car. Place dessicant in interior after thorough cleaning. Will keep moisture in balance and will keep moldy smells at bay. I will be placing my Camaro on jack stands to keep suspension parts from premature aging and reduce flat spots. I put a dehumidifier in garage with my Harley.

Desiccant is used to remove excess moisture or humidity from the car. I have heard that placing a bar of Irish Spring soap will keep mice or rats from taking up residence in a vehicle that is being stored over the winter.

I've been parking the SS for the winter for years. (garaged)
- full tank - new oil and filter - fresh detailing - trickle charger on battery Thats it. Never had a problem. |

If you are going to keep it in a garage then you might also think about one of these.

Desiccant is commonly knows as Silica Gel. These are the packets you see in with your new shoes, purses, electronics, etc. They are the most absorbent product commercially available, they are used to dry out phones, wet electronics, seeds, etc.
Desiccant placed in a car would help against moisture damage like Mildew and Mold. But those little Silica Gel Packets won't cut it, you would need something designed for the purposes. Here are some examples of products that would be more in line to use with a car, Dry-Packs Dehumidifier Boxes: http://www.silicagelpackets.com/dry-packs-dehumidifier/ |

If it takes any longer for me to get an allocation, the factory will be storing mine in boxes and parts bins this winter
