Guys and Girls,
I do need some help on this. I ordered my car 3 months ago at a dealer that didn't have any allocations and I was just going to wait but I found out that their other store had allocations so after 6 weeks I cancelled my order to reorder with the location that had allocations. I was told that I would wait about 6 to 8 weeks to get my car. That has been 7 weeks ago and I am still at 1100.

My salesman has not gotten back to me in a timely manner at all. Sometimes 3 to 4 days before he answers my email. Do I find another dealership that has allocations and try somewhere else or do I stay and not know when I will change from 1100?

They're back ordered. I was told 6-8 weeks as well, it was 5 months for my car. You'll proabably hear it from all of them, if they don't say 6-8 weeks, it's probably because they want your order to go through them, but no matter where you go, you'll be waiting longer then 8 weeks, unless you find one on the show room somewhere.

Depends on whether you can find a place with an allocation coming up sooner. The GM order system only takes a few allocations from a dealersip at a time, so it's very possible that you do have an allocation but your dealer has other orders ahead of you. Ask around, see if you can find a dealer without a back log of allocations.

I sat at 1100 on a order placed on 2/26 and finally cancelled recently. Ordered from another dealer and never moved from 1100

cancelled!! Took over an order from another dealer (a good one) now I have a TPW of 8/10 THIS WEEK!!

Anyway there isn't any logic on how the ordering process goes, at least I haven't been able to figure it out. I've heard every excuse in the book. You just need to find a good dealer.....
